JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER Date : 17.06.2026 Heard Mr. S Das, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. M P Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner has prayed for releasing him on bail, after he was arrested in connection with Kalgachia P.S. Case No.51/2026. 3. The petitioner is an accused of carrying four cattles in the E-Rickshaw in question. The Page No.# 2/2 petitioner was driving the E-Rickshaw to the shaultered house. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides. 5. Considering the period of detention of the petitioner, his bail application is allowed. 6. It is hereby directed that the petitioner, Mafidul Islam, who was arrested in connection with Kalgachia P.S. Case No.51/2026, shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barpeta. 7. The petitioner is directed not to repeat such offence again in future. The bail application stands disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
