Order 20/05/2026
1. This appeal assails the interim order dated 11.02.2026 passed by the learned Single Judge while entertaining a writ petition challenging the order passed by the Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal (for short 'the Tribunal') whereby, the Tribunal has stayed the operation of the order dated 19.12.2025.
2.
Learned counsel submits that the respondent to the writ petition, i.e., appellant herein has not received a single promotion since his initial appointment was in the year 1993 and the order passed by the Tribunal would only grant one promotion on the post of Senior Research Assistant whereas the respondent-writ petitioners have already been further promoted to the post of As- sistant Research Officer which are in State service.
3. We notice that the writ petitioners were promoted as Senior Research Assistant in the year 2011-12 while the Tribunal has granted consideration for promotion to the appellant for the vacancy year 2008-09.
4. The matter therefore requires to be examine.
5. Let the writ petition itself be heard at the earliest. We request the learned Single Judge to take up the matter at priority and decide the same. No interference however is warranted to the
[2026:RJ-JP:21192-DB] (3 of 3) [SAW-391/2026] interim order passed by the learned Single Judge, which is implementation of the order of the Tribunal which would virtually frustrate the writ petition itself.
6. In view of above, the special appeal is dismissed.
7. All pending applications also stand disposed of.
