By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- (i) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction upon Tehsildar, Tehsil Jwalapur, District Haridwar to conclude the proceedings of pending case No. 02 of 2000 Smt. Kalawati Versus Gram Sabha and others filed under Section 186 of U.P.Z.A. and L.R. Act, 1950 as expeditiously as possible but within stipulated time as given by this Hon’ble Court. 4. It is contended that under the proceedings under Section 186 of UPZA&LR Act, an order was passed against the petitioner on 23.11.2000, against which petitioner filed an application under Order 9 Rule 13 CPC, which was rejected. Thereafter, petitioner preferred an appeal and the appellate court remanded the matter back to Tehsildar vide order dated 13.09.2023 and the matter is pending before the UKHC010126112026 2026:UHC:6150 Tehsildar ever since then. 5. Having regard to the fact that the matter is pending before Tehsildar since 2023, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Tehsildar to conclude the proceedings within nine months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
