(Oral) Though by way of instant petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (in short “BNSS”), prayer has been made by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.0169, dated 15.7.2024, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of IPC, registered at Police Station Baddi, Police District Baddi, District Solan Himachal Pradesh, as well as consequent proceedings pending adjudication in the competent Court of law, but before case at hand, could be heard and decided on merit, 2026:HHC:19393 2 Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, while placing on record status report issued under the signature of SHO PS Baddi, states that cancelation report in the FIR sought to be quashed has been already submitted in the learned court below and as such, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings 2. Having perused copy of status report, which is taken on record, learned counsel for the petitioner, fairly states that nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and the same can be disposed of as having rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, respondent-complainant shall be at liberty to file objections, if any, qua the cancellation report in the competent court of law, which shall be decided in accordance with law.
