2026:JHHC:1221 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI Cont. Case (Civil) No. 1151 of 2025 Madho Rana ….. Petitioner Versus 1. The State of Jharkhand 2. Mr. Vaibhav Singh, Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Chatra ….. Opposite Parties ----- CORAM HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioner: Mr. H. K. Shikarwar, Advocate For O.P.No.2: Mr. Rakesh Kr. Roy, A.C to G.A-III ----- 03/16.01.2026 The present contempt application has been filed against the O.P.No.2 alleging wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 02.01.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 4294/2023. 2. Learned counsel for the O.P.No.2 refers to the order dated 06.09.2025 passed by the said opposite party in Misc. Case No. 39/2024-25 (Annexure-A to the show cause affidavit dated 03.11.2025) whereby the petitioner’s claim for making necessary correction in the revenue record relating to the land in question has been rejected and submits that the aforesaid order of this Court has now been complied. 3. On this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the O.P.No.2 has committed serious illegality in passing the said order. 4. Be that as it may. 5. Since a reasoned order has already been passed by the O.P.No.2 in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, there is no need to further proceed with the matter. 6. The contempt proceeding as against the O.P.No.2 is dropped. 7. The present contempt application stands disposed of. 8. The petitioner is however at liberty to take appropriate recourse as permissible under law to challenge the order dated 06.09.2025 passed by the O.P.No.2 in Misc. Case No. 39/2024-25.
