2. On 04.02.2026, this Court passed the following:

2. Issue raised in this petition is questioning the resolution passed by Syndicate of respondent No.1- University. In terms of which, it had resolved to withdraw Rs.50 crores from LIC Corpus Fund.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent No.1 files a memo which reads as under: ''The Respondent No.1 submits as under:- The Petitioner in the above petition has sought for a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the Resolution No.2022/6.31 & 2022/6.32 dated 22.08.2022 passed by the Syndicate of this Respondent at its meeting held on 22.08.2022 and other reliefs. The prayer sought by the petitioner does not survive for
consideration as during the pendency of the above petition this respondent has already credited the amount which was drawn from LIC's Management of Pension and Gratuity Funds of Mysore University as and when state government released the grants to the university and as such the decision dated 22.08.2022 which is sought to be quashed (vide Annexure-C) by the petitioner does not survive for consideration as on date. Hence, the above petition may kindly be disposed of as having become infructuous, in the interest of justice and equity.''
4. Since there is no representation of the petitioner, to hear the say of the petitioner, list this matter finally on 11.02.2026 for further hearing. ''
