The present Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of Respondents in not considering the representations of the Petitioner seeking for withdrawal of his services from Agricultural Market Committee as Selection Grade Secretary on O.D basis to enable him to work as Deputy Director of Marketing in Government Marketing Department and to declare the same as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner originally belongs to Government Marketing Department. The Petitioner was appointed as Selection Grade Secretary on O.D basis in Agricultural Market Committee as provided under Andhra Pradesh Marketing Service Rules, 1999. Over a period of time, the juniors of Petitioner were promoted as Regional Deputy Directors of Marketing, who have administrative control over the functions of the Agricultural Marketing Committee, in which the Petitioner is working. 3. In that context, as the Petitioner submitted representations on 26.06.2025 and 30.01.2026 seeking for withdrawal of his services from the Agricultural Market Committee on O.D basis and repatriate him to the parent Department. The other reason was that Petitioner is due for 5 retirement and it would be easy to settle the retirement benefits in case the Petitioner retires from the parent Department. As the representations submitted by the Petitioner are not being considered, the present Writ Petition is filed. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-III appearing for the Respondents submits that the representations submitted by the Petitioner will be considered by the Respondent- authorities and appropriate decision will be taken thereon. 5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions; i) The Respondent-authorities shall consider the representations submitted by the Petitioner and take appropriate decision thereon within a period of six (6) weeks; ii) No order as to costs. 6.
