The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, the aggrieved party in Spl S.C.No.278 of 2024, seeks to expedite the trial in the learned Special Court for the Exclusive Trial of POCSO Act Cases, Thanjavur, due to undue delays. The case has been filed against the accused persons for the offences under POCSO Act. Despite proceedings, the case has been repeatedly adjourned.
