Instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioner seeking following reliefs :- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court, may kindly call for the entire record in relates to the case of the petitioner. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court, may kindly be please to direct the Respondent authorities to decide the application dated 03.03.2025 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the Petitioner before the Respondent No.02(Collector-Mines and Mineral Branch, Raipur) within stipulated 2 period, as the existing lease is expiring on 29.03.2026, in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, any other relief, this Hon'ble Court, deem fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the Petitioner, in the interest of justice. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that respondent authorities had granted the Lime Stone Lease to the petitioner for a period of 10 years, which came to be expired on 29.03.2026. He further submits that the petitioner has filed an application (Annexure P-1) dated 03.03.2025 before respondent No. 2 for renewal of Lime Stone Lease, but the same has not been decided yet, hence, he submits that this petitioner may be disposed of directing respondent No. 2 to decide his application (Annexure P-1) within a specific time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to allow the limited prayer made by petitioner's counsel. 4. Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2 to decide application (Annexure P-1) dated 03.03.2025 filed by the petitioner for renewal of Lime stone lease, expeditiously preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt /submission of copy of this order in accordance with law, if already not decided. 5. With the aforesaid observation & direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 6. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stand(s) disposed of.
