The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Godda (Muffasil) P.S. Case No.206 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 317(5) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 11 of Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, 1960 and Section 12(1) of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Godda. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are owner and driver respectively of the pickup van and the allegations are made that in a cruel manner bovine animals were being carried in the said pickup van. He further submits that the said consignment was booked up by another person and that was on the valid purchase. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that in a cruel manner bovine animals were being carried. 5. Considering that the petitioners are owner and driver respectively of the pickup van and the consignment of bovine animals was booked up by another person as disclosed in paragraph No.9 of the petition and the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.17 of the petition, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of their surrender/arrest, the petitioners, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Godda in connection with Godda (Muffasil) P.S.
