Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “(i). That the Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ order or direction may kindly be issued for quashing and setting aside the Office Memorandum dated 17.09.2022 (Annexure P-3) whereby the Respondents have put a cap on the release of retiral benefits as are due to the Petitioner. (ii) That the Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or directions may kindly be issued directing the Respondents to release the entire arrears of retiral benefits i.e. Death-Cum-Retirement Gratuity, Commuted Value 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:19352 of Pension etc. to the Petitioner which have accrued in his favour on account of Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2022 as well as Office Memorandum dated 25.02.2022 along with 9% p.a. in view of judgments passed by this Hon'ble Court.” 2. Learned Counsel for the parties inform the Court that similar matters are pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Division Bench by way of CWP No. 8504 of 2025, titled as Madhu Deshta and others vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and others and connected matters. 3. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the adjudication by Hon’ble Division Bench in above matter shall be binding upon the parties herein and the parties shall abide by the final outcome thereof.
