Petitioners have challenged order dated 02.06.2026 passed by Commissioner for Employee Compensation. It is contended that the deceased was not an employee of petitioners and he was employed somewhere else. It is further contended that petitioners have paid ₹3.00 lakh as compensation to the parents of the deceased on 30.09.2025. It is further contended that there are as many as three proceedings initiated against the petitioners, i.e., (i) one criminal proceedings pursuant to FIR registered under Section 106 BNSS, (ii) a complaint case under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act and (iii) also proceedings under Employee’s Compensation Act, 1923. 4. This Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter. Whether the deceased is an employee of petitioners or UKHC010126062026 2026:UHC:6151 not has to be decided by the Competent Authority at the Employee’s Compensation Act. Any interference by this Court at this stage will not be warranted. 5. Even otherwise also, by the impugned order, petitioners were merely asked to present their case. Thus, there is no scope for interference in the matter. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
