It is the contention of the petitioner that pursuant to the respondent-State Government issuing a circular on 25.10.2024 enabling persons who are in occupation of plantation lands to seek regularization or grant of the lands, the petitioner has filed application on 28.11.2024 before the last date as prescribed. However, the application has not been considered as yet and no orders has been passed.
Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition are to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Sakaleshpura Taluk to consider the applications and pass necessary orders in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court. 3. Having regard to the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner, the writ petitions stand disposed of,

If it is found that the petitioner has filed the application in accordance with law and are eligible for a grant, necessary orders shall be passed by the Tahsildar as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
