Dubey, Advocate ---- 2/20.03.2026 Heard learned counsels for petitioners and for State. 2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Lesliganj P.S. Case No.161 of 2025, for offence registered under section 191(2), 191(3), 190, 132, 121(1), 115(2), 118(2), 351(1), 351(2), 351(3), 126(2) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate Palamau. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the excavation was being done and it was being protested by about 100 persons who were assembled there and there are general and omnibus allegations of assault upon the police personnel. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegations of assault are there upon the police personnel. 5. Looking to the contents of the FIR, it transpires that 100 persons were assembled and there are general and omnibus allegations against all of pelting stones upon the police personnel and the petitioners are having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.14, and in that view of the matter, petitioners above named are directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today and learned court shall release petitioners, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
