1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:
“10.1 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to grant seniority to the petitioner in the post of Assistant Grade-II with effect from 01.04.2020, at par with Respondent No. 4 to 8 with all consequential financial benefits in the interest of justice. 10.2 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to decide the pending representation filed by the petitioner for grant of promotion with effect from the date juniors to the petitioner were granted promotion in the post of Assistant Grade II/Computer. 10.3 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for entire records from the office of the respondents in respect of petitioner's claim & direct the respondents to grant all consequential benefits including notional fixation of pay and arrears. 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to Grant any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioner”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially the petitioner
3 / 3 was appointed on the post of Assistant Grade III and his next promotional post is Assistant Grade II/ Statistical Assistant. The respondent have initiated the proceedings of promotion, however, the petitioner was not granted promotion. He was promoted subsequently but not from the date, when his juniors were promoted, against which petitioner has submitted representation before respondent No. 3 lastly on 22.01.2026. The representation submitted by the petitioner is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to the respondent No. 3 to take decision on the representation at the earliest, within specified time frame.

Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, he is having no objection.

On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties and nature of grievance raised, I find it appropriate to disposed of this writ petition at this stage, directing respondent No. 3 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within further three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands
