Pleader Mr. Anirban Sarkar ..for the State Mr. Sanjay Saha Mr. Raju Mondal ..for the WBMDTCL The petitioner alleges that the respondent authorities are interfering with the day to day business activities of the petitioner. The petitioner claims that he is running a business of sand gradation, processing and filter material supply upon compliance of all formalities and after obtaining necessary registration from different authorities. The petitioner claims to have submitted a representation before the Chief Mining Officer, Mining Estate praying for permission to stock sand in their stock- yard for the business of screening, grading and processing of sand and supply thereof. After some argument, the learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the 2 action on the part of the police authorities as well as the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. On a query of the Court as to whether any representation has been submitted before the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, in his usual fairness, submits that no such written representation has been submitted before the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. He, however, prays for liberty to submit a comprehensive representation before the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. Mr. De, learned Additional Government Pleader appears for the State. Mr. De submits that if a comprehensive representation is submitted before the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, such authority shall consider the same in accordance with law. Mr. Saha, learned advocate appears for the West Bengal Mineral Development and Trading Corporation Limited. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocates for the respective parties and pursuant to the liberty sought for by the petitioner, WPA 1372 of 2026 stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a comprehensive representation before the concerned authority ventilating his grievances. If such a representation is submitted such authority shall consider 3 and dispose of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. There shall be however no order as to costs. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
