The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chatra P.S. Case No.20 of 2025, for offence registered under section 126(2), 109, 61(2), 352, 351(2)/3/5 of BNS, and section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the allegations of firing is made against one Sudhanshu Pandey. He also submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.15 of the petition.
4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement.

On perusal of the FIR, it transpires that the allegations are there of firing against one Sudhanshu Pandey and so far as this

petitioner is concerned, the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent. On query made by the Court, the learned counsel for the respondent State fairly submits that the case diary is silent on the point of criminal antecedent, and in that view of the matter, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within four weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Chatra P.S. Case No.20 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
