It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher on 11.07.1986 and awarded Selection Grade after completion of 10 years of service and later, promoted as Primary School Headmaster on 07.06.2000. While so, when he was promoted as Middle School Headmaster his pay was not fixed by counting the prior Selection Grade Service. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 30.03.2023 for which there is no response and subsequently, the petitioner got retired from service on 31.08.2024. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 4. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2023, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 13148 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
