ORDER 16-06-2026 Heard Mr. B. K. Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam.
2. This is an application filed under Section 483 BNSS, praying for grant of bail to the petitioner, namely, Smti. Punam Doley who was arrested in connection with Jonai P.S. Case No. 30/2026 (corresponding to G.R. Case No. 39/2026) registered
Page No.# 2/2 under Sections 20(b)(ii)B of the NDPS Act.
3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. R. J. Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Jonai P.S. Case No. 30/2026 vide Charge-Sheet No. 33/2026 dated 29.05.2026.
4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court for her regular bail in said Jonai P.S. Case No. 30/2026, which may be considered in accordance with law.
5. With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands disposed of.
