Petitioner-Association, at the outset, wants not to press relief No.i to the writ petition, whereby, Office Memorandum dated 01.08.2025 was challenged. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not press so far as it relates to relief No.‘i’.

Learned counsel for petitioner moved a supplementary affidavit, by which, she has disclosed the name of Members of petitioner-Association and Court fees submitted by each of them. Supplementary affidavit filed by petitioner is taken on record. Misc. Application (IA/2/2026) stands disposed of.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner limits her prayer only to the extent for a direction to respondent No.2-Director, Directorate of Departmental Accounts, Dalanwala, Dehradun, to decide the representations moved by petitioner-Association within a stipulated period in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the latest representations have been made by the petitioner-

2026:UHC:6042 2 Association on 10.09.2025 and 31.03.2026 (Annexure Nos.14 and 15 to the writ petition), whereby, the petitioner filed objection to the tentative joint seniority list dated 01.08.2025 in respect of Accountants working in different department of the State except department of treasury.

Learned counsel for petitioner made an innocuous prayer that if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide the aforesaid representations dated 10.09.2025 and 31.03.2026 (Annexure Nos.14 and 15 to the writ petition) within a stipulated period, the ends of justice would be met.

There is no objection from the side of learned State Counsel if such a direction is issued.

Accordingly, the writ petition is finally disposed of, with a direction to respondent No.2-Director, Directorate of Departmental Accounts, Dalanwala, Dehradun, to take decision on representations moved by petitioner-Association dated 10.09.2025 and 31.03.2026 (Annexure Nos.14 and 15 to the writ petition), by a well reasoned order, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.
