02/ 06.02.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Tandwa P.S. Case No. 22 of 2025 registered under section 80 of the BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of learned J.M. Ist Class, Chatra.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that chargesheet has been submitted only against husband and father-in-law of the deceased. She further submits that petitioner no.1 is mother-in-law, petitioner no.2 is brother-in-law of the deceased and petitioner no.3 is wife of petitioner no.2. She further submits that petitioners are co-operating in the investigation. On these grounds, she submits that the petitioners may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that petitioners are inlaws of the deceased.

Considering that chargesheet has been submitted only against husband and father-in-law of the deceased, the petitioners are inlaws of the deceased and they are cooperating in the investigation, the investigation against petitioners are going on and in that view of the matter, petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from

today and the learned court shall release the petitioners on terms and conditions and sureties as learned court deems fit and proper.
6. This anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
