2. This is an application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Sairuddin Sk. @ Sairuddin, who has been arrested on 04.04.2026, in connection with the Chapor P.S. Case No. 35/2026, under Sections 65(1) of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
3. During the course of deliberation of the matter, it is submitted by Mr. Baruah, the learned Addl. P.P., Assam on instruction that the police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet vide Charge-Sheet No. 46/2026, dated 24.05.2026.
4. In that context, Mr. M.I. Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused petitioner is in the custody since last 75 days and considering his length of detention, he may be released on bail.
5. Considering the fact that the case has already been charge sheeted, accordingly the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court below with an appropriate application for bail which may be considered in accordance with law.
6. This bail application stands disposed of accordingly.
