Since there were no standard guidelines dealing with cyber frauds/ cyber crime especially with regard to the restoration of money and redressal of grievance, this Court initiated this suo motu petition. 2. Various orders have been passed from time to time and eventually it was the Central Government which stated that it intends to come out with the SOP. Now the ACP (Legal) of Ministry of Home (CIS Division) has filed a personal affidavit and has placed on record the copy of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for NCRP- CFCFRMS, Custody, and Restoration of money and Grievance Redressal dated 30th December, 2025 notified on 02.01.2026. 3. From the SOP, we find that these have been formulated after carrying out a detailed study and by inviting the suggestions and opinions of all the stakeholders including the Reserve Bank of India. We place on record our appreciation for the painstaking efforts made by the officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs in bringing out the Standard Operating Procedure and direct that wide publicity be given to this document so as to facilitate the redressal of the grievance of all the aggrieved party/parties. 4. Since the instant petition has achieved its purpose, we see no reason to keep it on the docket of this Court, the same is accordingly disposed of. 5. However, it is made clear that the disposal of this petition shall not come in the way of any aggrieved party to approach this Court for revival of this petition or by filing an independent petition. 2026:JHHC:252-DB 6. Let a copy of this order be supplied to the Judicial Academy, Jharkhand, Ranchi as well as JHALSA, Jharkhand, Ranchi for its onwards transmission to all the stakeholders. 7.
