ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to return the seized gold jewels, which were pledged by the petitioner with the 2nd respondent, either to the 2nd respondent or to the petitioner. 2. Since the defacto complainant, namely; Thahamohamed is a necessary party this Court suo motu impleaded as 3rd respondent. 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner’s gold jewels were seized by the 1st respondent, however, the same have not been produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court–I, Madurai. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP Crl.(MD) NO. 33 of 2026 4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the 1st respondent is strictly directed to hand over the recovered jewels to the Judicial Magistrate Court–I, Madurai, in Crime No. 24 of 2025, on or before 23.01.2026. 5.
