Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that during the pendency of the present anticipatory bail application, the First Information Report, in connection with which the present application has been preferred, has already been quashed by this Court on the basis of a compromise/compounding arrived at between the parties. It is, therefore, submitted that in view of the quashing of the F.I.R., the cause of action for seeking anticipatory bail no longer survives. 4. Learned State Counsel does not dispute the aforesaid factual position. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the UKHC010063812023 2026:UHC:6000 record, this Court finds that the F.I.R., in respect of which the present anticipatory bail application has been filed, has already been quashed by this Court on the basis of the compromise entered into between the parties. Consequently, no criminal proceedings arising out of the said F.I.R. remain pending against the applicant. As such, the present anticipatory bail application has become infructuous and no further orders are required to be passed on its merits. 6. Accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application is disposed of as having become infructuous. 7. Pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of accordingly.
