According to the petitioner, due to the existence of garbage dumping place in Survey No.87, the residents of the area are greatly affected. The petitioner claims that due to the garbage dumping place located in Survey No.87 at the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, the health of the residents in the said area is greatly affected. The petitioner had given a representation on 18.02.2026 to the first respondent requesting them to immediately shift the garbage dumping place located in Survey No.87 at the address, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. According to the petitioner, despite the said representation, the first respondent has not shifted the garbage dumping place. In such circumstances, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 11638 of 2026 4.The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition, which includes the photographs of the subject garbage dumping place to substantiate his claim that the garbage dumping place has to be immediately shifted. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same. 6.No prejudice would be caused to the first respondent if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation dated 18.02.2026 seeking for immediate shifting of the garbage dumping place located in Survey No.87 in the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the contentions of the petitioner and the supporting documents produced by him, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
