The petition has been filed with the following prayers:- “a) Issue appropriate order/mandamus or any other writ declaring the impugned decisions dated 16.03.2026 qua tenders i.e. Reclamation of land through legacy waste by bioremediation and biomining at Okhla Dumpsite, Delhi (NIT No. EE(SLF) OKHLA/MCD/2025-26/04 Dated 10.09.2025) (Tender No. 2025_MCD_248093_1) and Reclamation of land through 18 legacy waste by bioremediation and biomining at Bhalswa Dumpsite, Delhi (NIT No. EE(SLF) B/MCD/2025- D/05 Dated 09.09.2025) (Tender No. /ID: 2025_MCD_248064_1) be declared null and void; and/or b) Issue appropriate order/mandamus or any other writ against the Respondents to complete the tender process of tenders i.e. Reclamation of land through legacy waste by bioremediation and biomining at Okhla Dumpsite, Delhi (NIT No. EE(SLF) OKHLA/MCD/2025-26/04 Dated 10.09.2025) (Tender No. 2025_MCD_248093_1) and Reclamation of land through legacy waste by bioremediation and biomining at Bhalswa Dumpsite, Delhi (NIT No. EE(SLF) B/MCD/2025-D/05 Dated 09.09.2025) (Tender No. /ID: 2025_MCD_248064_1); and/or This is a digitally signed order. In effect, the petitioner is challenging the decision taken by the respondents closing the tender issued on 10.09.2025 in respect of bioremediation and biomining at Okhla Dumpsite, Delhi and also tender dated 09.09.2025 reclamation of land through 18 legacy waste by bioremediation and biomining at Bhalswa Dumpsite. 3. Ms. Sannu, learned counsel for the respondents on instructions states that a decision has been taken on 16.03.2026, to issue fresh tenders, within 1-2 months(s). He states that he shall file an affidavit in that regard. 4. Renotify on 15.04.2026.” 2. Learned counsel representing the Respondents submits that a decision has been taken by the Respondents to invite fresh tenders and the same will be issued within a period of one month from today. 3. Learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that under the garb of the Impugned Decision, the Respondents, are continuing with the previous contractor, though, his period lapsed in October 2025. 4. Keeping in view the facts of the case, the present Petition is disposed of while directing the Respondents to invite fresh tenders, complete in all respects, within a period of one month from today. 5. It is clarified that in the event the Respondents do not take the necessary steps within the prescribed period, the Petitioner will be at liberty to file application for revival of the present Petition.
