Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner sought a direction to the respondent–State for release of the amount allegedly due towards supply of bio-fertilizer. This Court is not inclined to entertain the said prayer, as the relief sought in the writ petition itself has been rendered infructuous consequent upon withdrawal of the impugned order. However, it is clarified that such withdrawal shall not preclude the petitioner from raising appropriate bills and submitting a representation to the competent authority, which shall be considered in accordance with law.
