Heard learned counsel for the petitioner to some extent. Perused the petition and it reveals that petitioner has made incorrect statement that there is no conviction to the present petitioner and therefore, we disclose that we are not entertaining this petition as incorrect statement is made in the petition. 2. However, considering the personal liberty of the petitioner is at stake, we are granting liberty to the petitioner to withdraw the petition with further liberty to prefer an appeal under the statutory provision under Section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act. 2026:BHC-NAG:12101-DB 2 8 cr.wp no.455.26.odt..odt 3. We also direct the Appellate Authority to consider the appeal of the present petitioner and decide the same expeditiously within three weeks. 4.
