The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Special (Vig.) Case No.09 of 2022 arising out of ACB Dhanbad P.S. Case No.09 of 2022, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477A and 120B of Indian Penal Code and Sections 13(2)(1)(a) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018 (Amended) pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-X-cum-Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhanbad. 3. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has purchased the land in question and the said land was acquired by the government and thereafter the petitioner has also been compensated. He further submits that the only allegation is made that after notification of acquisition the land in question was purchased by the petitioner. He then submits that two of the co-accused persons, who are 2026:JHHC:2700 --2-- A.B.A. No. 534 of 2026 Land Acquisition Officers, have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in ABA Nos.8682 of 2023 and 5960 of 2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there against the petitioner of purchasing of land after notification of land acquisition. 5. Considering that petitioner is the purchaser and the only allegation is made that she has purchased the land after notification of land acquisition and further the petitioner has also been compensated by the authority concerned for acquiring of the said land and two of the Land Acquisition Officers have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in the aforesaid ABAs, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within six weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-X-cum-Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhanbad in connection with Special (Vig.) Case No.09 of 2022 arising out of ACB Dhanbad P.S. Case No.09 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
