Case No. 22 of 2024 (S.T. No. 174 of 2025, G.R. No. 216 of 2025) for the offence registered under Sections 498A/34, 307/34. 323/34 and 494 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-V, Palamu at Daltonganj. Earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected on merit and the present bail application is being renewed on the ground that the petitioner is in custody since 16.10.2024 and the charge has been framed and out of eight witnesses, only three have been examined. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the direct allegation of attempt to commit murder of the prosecutrix by pushing her from the roof top as well as the fact that earlier bail application having been rejected, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
