Side), for R3 & R4 O R D E R This writ petition (criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 16.12.2025 and to consequently, grant permission and protection for conducting Horse Cart race, which is scheduled to be held on 15.01.2025 at 9.00 am., from Namagiripettai Bus Stand to Mettala Anjaneyar Temple via Attur Main Road. 2. Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), takes notice on behalf of the 3rd and 4th respondents. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 1, 2, 5 & 6, notice to the respondents 1, 2, 5 & 6 is dispensed with. 4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 3rd and 4th respondents on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 16.12.2025 has been considered and permission has been granted for conducting horse cart race, vide proceedings of the 4th respondent dated 25.12.2025, on certain conditions and he also produced a copy of the said proceedings before this Court today. 5. The aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) is recorded. Though it has been submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the petitioner’s representation dated 16.12.2025 has been considered, a perusal of the aforereferred proceedings does not indicate much less clearly that the petitioner’s representation has been considered. However, in view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), in the light of the aforereferred proceedings dated 25.12.2025 of the 4th respondent, permission is granted to the petitioner to conduct Horse Cart race schedule to be held on 15.01.2025 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(Crl.)No.1794 of 2025 at 9 AM from Namagiripettai Bus Stand to Mettala Anjaneyar Temple via Attur Main Road in connection with the celebration of the ensuing Tamil New Year and Pongal Festival, subject to conditions imposed by the 4th respondent in the aforereferred proceedings. 6.
