JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER Date : 16.06.2026 Heard Mr. M Ahmed, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. M P Goswami, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Udalguri P.S. Case No.20/2026, whereby the petitioners, namely, 1. Moiful islam @ Mohibul Islam, 2. Amajan Ali and 3. Tofajal Haque have prayed for anticipatory bail. 3. On the basis of an information, police raided the house of the petitioner Moiful islam @ Mohibul Islam. Police recovered stolen cows from his house. Later on, it was found that some other persons are also involved in this offence. According to the FIR, the petitioners used to transport stolen cows to the slaughtered house for sale of meat in the market. 4. I have gone through the case diary. 5. It appears that the petitioners are involved in transportation of stolen cows and they are guilty of slaughtering cows for sale of meat in the market. These people are not entitled to anticipatory bail as prayed for. Therefore, their pre-arrest bail applications is dismissed and disposed of. The CD shall be returned. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
