The instant bail application has been filed by the petitioner Pankaj S/o Subesingh under Section 483 of B.N.S.S, 2023, who was arrested in connection the FIR bearing No.227/2025 dated 28.07.2025, registered at Police Station Chirawa, District Jhunjhunu for the offences punishable under Sections 8 and 20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that police has falsely implicated the petitioner in the present case and no recovery of the alleged contraband substance was made from his possession. He further submits that there is no description regarding the involvement of the petitioner in the present case in any manner including recovery of any cell-phone. Learned counsel also submits that there is no criminal antecedent of any nature in [2026:RJ-JP:21545] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-6026/2026] the past including under the NDPS Act, 1985, therefore, learned counsel prays that the petitioner may be enlarged on bail by this Court. 3. Learned Public Prosecutor strongly opposes the bail application by referring to the statements of the petitioner herein as recorded by the police during the enquiry note on 19.02.2026. On account of the said enquiry note, the petitioner has given complete description as to how the contraband substance was received from the State of Orissa with the purpose of supplying in the State. It was also informed that the petitioner took the other co-accused person along-with him, who took the vehicle bearing No. HR28 E 5761 on rent. 4. Noticing the above serious conduct and after considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the present petitioner on bail. 5.
