JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 13.01.2026 01. 1. Heard Mr. Sahoo, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Mohanty, learned ASC for the State. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Chandpur P.S. Case No.202 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No.525 of 2025 pending in the file of learned J.M.F.C., Ranpur on the grounds stated therein. 3. The medical examination report of the informant-victim is produced by the learned ASC for the State and the same is perused and it reveals that she sustained simple injuries of abrasion. The marriage between the two has taken p. 2 place five years before and on the date of occurrence, the petitioner did the overt acts and assaulted the informant wife but since the victim has suffered minor injuries, considering the same, this Court is of the view that the petitioner though should not be granted pre-arrest bail but to be released on bail upon surrender before the court concerned with suitable conditions. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, ABLAPL stands disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is further directed that in the event, the petitioner surrenders before the court of learned J.M.F.C., Ranpur within a fortnight from today, he shall be released on bail in connection with Chandpur P.S.
