1. Petitioners have sought for a direction to the respondents to correct and update the RTC entries and revenue records pertaining to Survey Nos.361 and 362, Bilagumga Village, Kasaba Hobli, Closepet Taluk, Ramanagara, so as to reflect ownership in the names of their respective fathers, in accordance with the Registered Sale Deed dated 03.06.1943 and the subsequent

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8794 WP No. 36522 of 2025 mutations recorded, as represented by them vide Annexure-H.
2. Learned HCGP raised a preliminary objection that the petitioners are seeking directions to respondent No.2- Assistant Commissioner to consider their representations to enter the names of the fathers respectively,in the RTC by removing the name of one Abdul Nabi Sab, who is the vendor of the father of petitioners and their predecessors.
3. Learned HCGP further submits that such a representation cannot be considered by the Assistant Commissioner. A duly constituted Appeal under Section 136(2) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1961 has to be filed by the petitioners.
4. Upholding the submissions of the learned HCGP, the writ petition stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioners to file an appeal before the respondent no.2 - Assistant Commissioner, seeking appropriate relief.
