Petitioner, through the medium of this petition, seeks release of allegedly pending admitted liability to the tune of Rs. 19,90,002/-, along with simple interest in favour of the petitioner, being due to him after release of part payment to the tune of Rs. 63,57,393/-, for execution of work “Upgradation and renovation of civil infrastructure at 150/MVA, 132/33 KV Habbak Grid Station”, allotted to him in response to e-NIT No. 16/JKPTCL/TLMD- SGR/2023-24, dated 14.10.2023 and vide Work Order No. JKPTCL/TLMD-I/SGR/e-NIT/16/2023-24/TS/69 of 2023-24, dated 28.02.2024, for disposal of earth excavated during concreting, renovation of existing dilapidated civil infrastructure and construction of compounding wall of 132/33 KV switchyards at 150 MVA, 132/33 KV GSS Habbak. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the performance/completion certificate, issued by Executive Engineer, TLMD-I, Bemina Srinagar, indicating that the work has been completed in August, 2025 satisfactorily. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied, in case the petition is disposed of at this stage, with a direction to the respondents to consider the release of the balance amount in favour of the petitioner. 4. In view of the pleadings, submissions urged at the Bar, and the limited nature of controversy raised in the petition, the present petition is disposed of at this motion stage, with a direction to the respondents to release the balance amount in favour of the petitioner, after verification of the same as per their record, at the earliest. 5.
