The petitioner claims that, wrongfully, patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition has been issued in the name of one Srinath Kumar. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the said patta through his representation dated 10.03.2025. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed. 3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and would submit that based on the petitioner’s representation dated 10.03.2025 proceedings have been initiated by the respondents and enquiry has also been commenced and in due course final https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 50806 of 2025 orders will be passed on the petitioner’s application dated 10.03.2025. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation dated 10.03.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta issued in the name of Srinath Kumar for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of Srinath Kumar and any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire. 6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
