The present appeal has been filed against the impugned order dated 20.11.2025 passed by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-II-cum- Special Judge (SC/ST Act), Ranchi in connection with SC/ST Case No.98 of 2025, arising out of Namkum P.S. Case No.110 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 126(2), 115(2), 118(1) & 109, 103(1), 352, 351(2) & (3) of the Bhartiya Nayaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 3(1)(r)/3(1)(s) of the SC/ST (PoA) Act. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that it is a crime committed by a mob and even as per the prosecution story, his presence has been shown. No other material is available which suggests that this appellant was a part of the said mob and further, he has participated in the trial. The appellant is in custody since 10.08.2025 and the charge has already been framed. On the above basis, prayer for bail has been made. 4. Learned counsel for the State and informant has opposed the prayer for bail and it has been submitted that the injured witnesses have clearly taken the name of this appellant, who has participated in the alleged crime. 2026:JHHC:12560 Page No.2 Criminal Appeal (S.J) No.1046 of 2025 5. Considering the material available on record, I am not inclined to enlarge the appellant on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the appellant is hereby, rejected. 6.
