The only relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to direct the respondent No. 1 to decide the second appeal of the petitioner which is said to have been pending since 08/11/2019, however, a careful perusal of the reply filed by the respondents/State would show that the second appeal preferred by the petitioner has been decided and dismissed vide order dated 23/12/2019 (Annexure R/1) and in that view of the matter, this writ petition has become infructuous. 2. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed having become infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 23/12/2019 (Annexure R/1) in accordance with law.
