1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State through video conferencing.
2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 82/2025,registered under Sections 8/20(b) (ii) (b)/ 22 (b) of NDPS Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is allegation against two accused persons including the petitioner. It is alleged that 16.5 Kg Ganja has been recovered and that is intermediary quantity which led the allegation under Section 20 (b) of the N.D.P.S. Act. He submits that petitioner is in custody since 06.08.2025. He further submits that there is one criminal antecedent against the petitioner, however, it is not of the N.D.P.S. Act.
4. Learned A.P.P. for the State appearing through video conferencing has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner since ganja has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner and three co-accused persons were travelling on the same Motorcycle.

Considering that ganja which has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner is intermediary quantity and the petitioner is in custody since 06.08.2025 and also the chargesheet has been submitted, and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla, in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 82/2025.
