(Oral) The petitioner has challenged the transfer order dated 11.06.2026 passed by respondent No.2 to the extent it relates to petitioner, whereby, he was transferred from Block Mori to Block Purola within District Uttarkashi and further other ancillary reliefs. 2. The main ground of assailing the aforesaid transfer order is that the petitioner was transferred from Block Mori to Block Purola under the compulsory transfer from remote to accessible area. He has given options but he was transferred to Block Purola ignoring the options given by him. 3. Learned counsel for respondents-State submits that petitioner is posted at Block Mori since 2021 and it is after putting in more than four years of requisite service, he was transferred under the compulsory transfer as referred above. The options which have been submitted by petitioner are not pursuant to the compulsory transfer from remote to accessible area rather options have been made by petitioner on an application for his transfer on request. Since, petitioner has not been transfer on request, therefore, the options cannot be looked into by the authority concerned and thus, the petitioner has rightly been transferred from Block Mori to Block Purola. 5. In view of the fact that petitioner is a government servant and the transfer is exigency of service, therefore, no interference is warranted. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed in- limine. 7. Pending application stands disposed of.
