Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.03.2025 in connection with Birsanagar P.S. Case No. 26 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 645 of 2025, registered under Sections 305, 331(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, now pending in the court of learned J.M., Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No.7721 of 2025 vide order dated 10.09.2025. He has submitted that despite the petitioner being in custody since 22.03.2025, the trial has not yet concluded and only six witnesses have been examined. However, he is not aware as to how many more witnesses are yet to be examined. 4. Learned counsel for the opposite party- State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that the stolen gold Jitiya was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, it appears that the trial is in advanced stage, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and hence, this bail application is rejected. 6. However, the State is directed to ensure prompt production of witnesses. 7. Learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate this 2026:JHHC:5785 2 order to the Director, Prosecution as well as Superintendent of Police of the concerned district. 8.
