NATARAJ ORAL ORDER The petitioner has challenged the registration of FIR in Crime No.44/2026 by the respondent No.1 for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(3), 352, 3(5) of BNS pending on the file of the Civil Judge and JMFC, Devanahalli. 2. When this petition is listed for orders, an application is filed by the petitioner under Section 528 read with Section 359(2) of BNS seeking permission to compound the offences as per the compromise entered into between them and consequently to quash the FIR in Crime No.44/2026 by the respondent No.1 for the offences punishable under Sections - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16440 CRL.P No. 4114 of 2026 115(2), 118(1), 351(3), 352, 3(5) of BNS pending on the file of the Civil Judge and JMFC, Devanahalli. 3. The parties are present and they accept that they have agreed to compound the offences. 4. In view of the same, application filed by the petitioner under Section 528 read with Section 359(2) of BNS is allowed. The parties are permitted to compound the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(3), 352, 3(5) of BNS in Crime No.44/2026 pending on the file of the Civil Judge and JMFC, Devanahalli. 5. Consequently, this petition is allowed. The FIR registered against the petitioner in Crime No.44/2026 by the respondent No.1 for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(3), 352, 3(5) of BNS pending on the file of the Civil Judge and JMFC, Devanahalli, stands compounded.
