JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER 15/06/2026 The instant application has been preferred praying for stay of the impugned judgment and award dated 14.11.2024, passed by Additional District Judge, Biswanath Chariali, Biswanath in MAC Case No.41/2018. Heard learned counsel for the appellant, Mr. Shyam Sharma. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the appellant has filed an appeal against the impugned judgment and award dated 14.11.2024, which has been admitted before this Court and it is stated that the applicant has taken good grounds for appeal which is likely to succeed and therefore, the judgment may be stayed during the pendency of the appeal failing which irreparable loss will caused to the applicants. She has submitted that the applicant is willing to deposit 50% of the awarded amount. Accordingly, the impugned judgment and award dated 14.11.2024 is suspended subject to the condition that the appellant shall deposit 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry of this Court within 6(six) weeks from today. 3.
