2026:JHHC:5876 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No.994 of 2026 ------ Deepak Munda @ Dipak Kunda @ Butul, aged about 32 years, son of Sri Jamuna Munda, R/o Manjhatoli, PO – Manjhatoli, PS-Raidih, Dist-Gumla, Jharkhand. … … Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand. … … Opposite Party(s) ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ajeet Kumar Singh, Advocate For the State : Mr. Tarun Kumar, APP ----- 02/ 27th February, 2026 1. This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as the petitioner is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 310, 311 of BNS, 2023 and under Section 27(2) of Arms Act. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. The learned APP opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the miscreants were wearing helmet so it is not possible to identify them, but I am not entering in that aspect because it is clear from the impugned order that the petitioner has been identified as one of the miscreants in Test Identification Parade (TIP). Thus, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the payer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Raidih P.S. Case No.44 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Gumla, stands rejected. 5. Accordingly, B.A. No.994 of 2026 is dismissed.
