Heard Ms. T Wapangla, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. The present application is filed alleging willful and deliberate violation of this court’s order dated 17.05.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 1355/2021. The direction issued under the aforesaid order is quoted hereinbelow: “Taking note of the submissions advanced by learned counsel for both the sides, this writ petition is hereby disposed of by providing that the respondents may issue orders for appointment to the petitioner Nos. 2,3,7,19,20,23,26 & 27 appointing them as Constable (GD) in any of the division of the Central Armed Police Forces, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within 6 (six) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.” 3. In the aforesaid backdrop to expedite the process, this court had requested Ms. B Sarma, learned CGC to assist this court and to complete her instruction as regards status of compliance of the aforesaid directions. 4. Today, Ms. Sarma has produced a communication addressed to the Regional Director by the Under Secretary to the Govt. of India intimating revision of final select list in terms of this court’s order dated 17.05.2023 passed in WP(C) 1355/2021. 5. The aforesaid revise list reflects the name of the petitioners at serial Nos. 1 to 8, which are held to be qualified after revised final list. 6. Subsequently, the Staff Selection Commission has also notified Page No.# 4/4 the result. 7. In view of the aforesaid, this court is of the opinion that the order dated 17.05.2023 passed in WP(C) 1355/2021 stands complied with. 8. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands closed. 9. While parting with the record, this court puts its appreciation upon Ms. Sarma as she has ably assisted this court. The Department shall pay her the remuneration as per extant rate.
