Upadhyay, Advocate. ------ 03/ 30.04.2026 Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P for the State and learned counsel appearing for the O.P. No. 2. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bermo (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 20 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 85, 351(3) and 352 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bermo at Tenughat. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be the husband of the informant-O.P. No. 2 and allegations are made of torture and demand of dowry. He next submits that there are general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. On this ground he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be provided to the petitioner. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State and learned counsel appearing for the informant-O.P. No. 2 have jointly opposed the prayer [2026:JHHC:12764] -2- and submit that even after lodging of the present FIR, the petitioner has gone to the house of the informant and brutally assaulted the informant and for that a complaint has been lodged by the informant before the Superintendent of Police, Bokaro. 5. Considering that the petitioner happened to be the husband of the informant and after lodging of the present FIR, the petitioner has gone to the house of the informant and brutally assaulted the informant, for that a complaint has been lodged by the informant before the Superintendent of Police, Bokaro and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, above named.
