According to him, he completed the civil work for which contract was given to him to the satisfaction of the concerned authorities, but, payment for the work done has not been released so far. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to directing the respondent's authorities to make the payment of Rs. 3,72,948.63 of petitioner, as the petitioner has completed his work. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus to directing the respondent's authorities to make the payment of Rs. 3,72,948.63 to the petitioner with interest 18% interest.” 5. He submits that payment would be made as and when the funds are released by the Government. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Executive Engineer concerned. If he makes representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within three months thereafter.
