CRP No. 2772 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 CRP No. 2772 of 2026 For Petitioner(s): MR.N.Ponraj For Respondent(s): Order This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the landlord/revision petitioner seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of the suit in OS.No.635 of 2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that the dispute arises out of a landlord–tenant relationship and that the suit has been pending for more than five (5) years without final adjudication. It is further submitted that the revision petitioners are senior citizens, and therefore seek early disposal of the suit.
3. Considering the prolonged pendency of the suit and the advanced age of the revision petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant the relief sought for. Accordingly, (i)the learned Trial Judge is directed to dispose of the suit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
